On October 21, 2026, the PHP development team released an urgent security update addressing two critical vulnerabilities in PHP, a programming language widely used to power websites. These vulnerabilities could allow attackers to run unauthorized code on affected servers. Our team completed the upgrade to PHP 8.3.36 across all of our hosting environments that evening, applying the official fixes for both vulnerabilities.

No action is required from our hosting clients. These updates have been handled at the server level as part of our management of your hosting environment. Keeping this underlying software secure and current is an essential part of caring for your website. For additional information, please see the official PHP 8.3.36 release announcement and CERT-EU’s security advisory, which explain the vulnerabilities and the recommended updates.
