Latest Launch: Carolinas Center for Oral & Facial Surgery

The latest partner to join our Remedy CMS network is Carolinas Center for Oral & Facial Surgery. CCOFS is a large oral and maxillofacial surgery group headquartered in Charlotte, NC. We're excited to add this premier healthcare organization to our portfolio of top performing medical websites.

Project Overview

Through their mycenters.com domain, the CCOFS medical practice had previously built a large-scale, content-heavy WordPress website that encompassed multiple different sub-practices within the larger oral and facial surgery group. This included cosmetic procedures, a world-renown cleft palate center and other services provided by their practice. This structure pushed the limits of what WordPress is designed to support, resulting in a web experience that was cumbersome to administer, challenging to update, and poorly optimized for SEO. The E-dreamz process began with a thoughtful reevaluation of the CCOFS content, services, patient experience and overall digital marketing goals. We ultimately built two separate standalone websites for CCOFS, both powered by our Remedy CMS platform, to clean up the technical challenges with their combined site and provide a better digital foundation for marketing and patient engagement.

Platform Configuration

As an enterprise-class healthcare group, CCOFS was in need of a custom built web application that would appropriately handle their volume of pages, contents, features and functions. Our Remedy CMS platform is designed for exactly that, so it was the ideal solution for CCOFS’ needs. CCOFS operates dozens of individual office locations throughout the Carolinas, staffs more than 50 surgeons and care providers, along with numerous staff and administrators, and provides treatments across a wide range of conditions related to oral and facial surgery. As such, their website is packed with content related to their team, services, patient outcomes and other related resources. We did extensive customization and configuration of our Remedy CMS platform to create a web management experience for CCOFS that is fast, effective, fully-featured, secure and easy for their office administrators and marketers to manage.

Custom Features

The most notable customization of the CCOFS website was the creation of a separate standalone website for their cosmetic surgery services. The new CarolinaFaces.com website split out all cosmetics-focused content from the previous combined mycenters.com website to create a distinct web experience with a look and feel more appropriate for cosmetic surgery. This allows CCOFS to market its cosmetic service uniquely from the oral & facial surgery practice and provide a patient experience that is more appropriate for those seeking cosmetic treatment. Similarly, we built a uniquely designed sub-section for the CCOFS cleft palate center. While still living under the primary mycenters.com domain, the cleft center section of the website was built with a custom layout and its own subnavigation to silo the unique services of CCOFS’ cleft doctors and their reputation for industry-leading care for children with cleft issues.
