"Get Care Now" Add-On for Remedy CMS

Our latest new feature developed for our Remedy CMS healthcare website management platform is a "Get Care Now" (GCN) utility custom-built to empower healthcare administrators to easily configure and define open available hours per day at each of their office locations that offer same-day appointments. This can be used for Urgent Care providers, Walk-In Clinics, Emergency Rooms, or any other locations that offer same-day treatment. 

Flexible Hours Management in Remedy CMS

On the administration side of things, GCN uses a new custom Hours Management interface in the CMS. This can be applied to any Location component to provide day-time settings for your office's open hours. This is further extended with custom flags and options for whether or not any of your office location's offers same-day or walk-in visits. This provides the flexibility to show either standard operating hours for schedule appointments, walk-in/urgent care hours for unscheduled visits, or both. We also built in "lunch hours" for our healthcare partners that have mid-day breaks in their walk-in availability. 


Custom Messaging & Notifications for Patients

The real power of the new GCN update is the patient experience of showing in real-time which of your office locations are open to see patients without a scheduled appointment. This new page can be triggered from any kind of banner, pop-up or notification throughout the website, allowing you the flexibility to define how you want to present your "Get Care Now" or "Be Seen Immediately" messaging according to how your practice offers same-day care. Through additional styling, markers, tags or flags, we can also denote on standard office location pages which locations are currently open and available to see patients immediately. 


Future Extensions & Integrations

With the fundamentals now in place to power a real-time display of open office locations along with easy to use admin controls to manage the hours when they need to change for holidays, emergencies, outages, etc, we have the architecture in place to extend this GCN utility however is needed to integrate with any of your practice management tools. If you already have a software tool that provides real-time data on office or provider availability, wait times, etc, our engineering team can work with your technical lead to build an integration to displays all of your real-time patient information on your new custom Get Care Now page(s).
